LaToya Lucas, MSN, NP-C is a board certified adult nurse practitioner, with over 25 years of health care experience. She received her board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 1995 receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2002 with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN- Nursing Education) and in 2009, completing her Post Masters Certification in Adult/Gerontological Nurse Practitioner.
LaToya Strives to provide patient centered care that encompasses health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of common and complex health care problems. She desires to be a patient advocate and to help her patients to live their BEST life.
In her free time, she is active with her church (Emmanuel Baptist Church, in Thomasville, NC), her sorority (Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated), and The Ladies of A&T (LOAT). She enjoys traveling, attending high tea, nice brunches, and she considers herself a "foodie". She is the proud wife of Harry Lucas, Jr and the mother of four children (Avery, Taelore, Aaron and Zion).
