  1. I am currently unemployed and am uninsured. I am on a high blood pressure medicine and will be out of it soon. Can you tell me if you see unisured patients and if so, how much do you charge? I am in desperate need of trying to make sure I have this medicine and also to make sure that I still need it. We did not have insurance where I worked and we had a health nurse that prescribed this to me. I have been on this for over a year now. You can also contact me at 828-302-7634 (my fiance Annette Bowman’s number) it is ok to disclose cost info to her, etc. She is aware that I am emailing you. thanks

    • Dear Chad:

Yes. We see unsinsured at Bowen Primary & Urgent Care. You can call the office and ask about the fees.

We also have a program for uninsured patients called Apollo Healthcare. Please contact Lynette Sigmon at 828-256-1471.

  2. Dr. Bowen… You, Pang Yang and Connie (and your other staff..)
are some of the BEST people in the field. After not needing a Dr. all these
years and now age has crept up on me… I think you’ve saved my life like 3 times
already! After all those wasted hospital visits… and 2 PAs in my area and a
MD. NO ONE and I mean NO ONE could find the answers. You checked and found them quickly, and addresses them when no other “professional” could.
I am lucky to have you as my Doctor and also that ONE Sunday my supervisor
was crying “I need a note… I need a note!” (Song of the lazy!) Your a great guy and and super human being. I am a lucky man indeed.
Thank You (and all your staff!)

  3. Dear Reba:

Thanks for letting us know. Charter Communications has been having issues with there VOIP. This apparently affected a lot of businesses who use Charter for telephone service state wide. We were able to call out just fine.
